We're Opening Back Up Soon in a New Location
Our mission is to help young adults /children on the
autism spectrum and their families live more productive, successful lives. Our
approach involves intensive work with neuro diverse, at-risk youth and their
families with a focus on conscious-parenting, individual outcomes, keeping young
people in the community whenever safely possible. We are committed to providing
accountability to families and supporters while producing lasting success for young
adults/children with success rates twice that of traditional services at
one-third the cost of traditional care.
The Hi-Tech Tutoring
Center, Inc. (HTTC) was founded on October 15, 1991, by Mrs. Ernestine Mosley.
Mrs. Mosley was a Teacher, Guidance Counselor and Assistant Principal in the
Orange County Public School System for over 30 years. While in the system, she
noticed that many students were falling through the educational cracks because
their parents were not able to get them the

When
she retired, rather than sitting in her rocking chair, she decided to open the
tutoring center and make a difference in the community by offering the
education basics - reading, writing, and math. Initially, we began helping
athletes who had gotten offered entry into college but needed to raise their
GPAs and test scores. Eventually, we expanded into after school programs and
summer camps.
After the decline in health and eventual passing of our founder, Ernestine Mosley, her daughter, Holly Mosley Cooper, MBA became the Executive Director and President/Treasurer of the Board of Directors.
Holly Mosley Cooper, MBA Executive Director, HTTCWe will continue to offer programs and services that are beneficial to the whole community. Hi-Tech Tutoring Center, Inc. will offer the “Stepping Out” Phase II program. HTTC will assist young adults on the Autism Spectrum ages 15 - 25 with transitioning from high school into adulthood and the workplace. Additionally, we seek to offer a respite for caregivers while offering meaningful programming for young adults who require more assistance to live meaningful and satisfying lives. Through our efforts, we will deter young people from getting involved in the justice system, thus reducing crime, and improving life for all members of the community.
What makes us unique in the nonprofit community is that we are a nonprofit organization that assists young people on the autism spectrum that is operated by individuals who are on the autism spectrum. Additionally, we create a family-like, nurturing environment that facilitates learning.
HTTC operates on the same schedule as the Orange County Public School system (August 2023 – May 2024). We hope to be up and running before winter break. However, more realistically, with getting set up, we expect to be operating by January of 2024.
By creating productive citizens, we are improving our community. At HTTC, we teach our students who are considered high functioning but are on the autism spectrum to live self-sufficient and productive lives. We are creating a nurturing, family-centered environment that facilitates and sustains learning. HTTC believes that offering needed services to neglected communities will deter the young people from getting involved in the justice system. This will ultimately reduce the crime rate in the community and improve life for everyone.
