What the Heck is "Dancing for Dollars?"

What is “Dancing for Dollars” you may ask? Well, rest assured it has NOTHING to do with stripper poles or any such thing. “Dancing for Dollars” is the effort of our new Executive Director, Holly Mosley Cooper, MBA, to bring in funds and bring awareness to Hi-Tech Tutoring Center, Inc. It has been one month since I published my book

I did not think I would be doing a "re branding" job so early in the game but here it goes anyway.  One month ago today I accomplished something I was beginning to think I never would; I published my first book.   It is an autobiography but not in the sense of being self-promoting and self-congratulatory.   Okay, maybe a little self-congratulatory but if you don’t pat yourself on the back, who will?   This book is so much more than that though.   It’s about overcoming obstacles, learning to be comfortable in your own skin and living up to your full potential. But, the parents were cooperative, the children had a blast and our family was enjoying some much needed R&R. In fact, I was in the Arcade at the resort where we were staying when I got a text message from my friend, “Whitney Houston has passed? Turn on tv” To which I replied, “We’re in the arcade. Is she dead?” The heart-wrenching reply still causes a knot i...
